It is with immeasurable sadness that we inform you of the untimely death of our CEO, Kevin Pather, who passed away suddenly on 31st March 2024.

Kevin’s unflinching passion for the business stretched over the twenty-five years he served the company. Through his foresight and dedication, he was instrumental in transforming the company to its present state as a leading manufacturing company in Botswana and his drive for excellence has positioned Delta Automotive Technologies for sustainable growth

The Board of Directors has appointed Harald Keichel, a Board member, to the role of Caretaker CEO, to drive the business strategy going forward until such a time that a substantive replacement will be identified. We assure our stakeholders that the Board and Management will ensure that Kevin and Delta’s vision are attained. Kevin’s belief in mentorship and people development means that he leaves behind a team well-equipped to ensure continuity and sustainability of the business.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to extend its heartfelt condolences to all of Kevin’s family, friends and colleagues.
